Cold calling a company is slow. Calling the right person at that company is a different job entirely. This walk-through follows the path our sales and recruitment users take from business to person to conversation.
Start on the business profile
Every business profile lists its key people - the directors, owners and senior roles drawn from public records and published sources. On a 40-person company, that list is often three or four names: exactly the shortlist you would otherwise buy from a gatekeeper over four calls.
Open the person, read the context
Selecting a person shows their role and where they sit. Open the profile and the context deepens: their position, the business they belong to, and the same public-record backbone the business profile carries.
The questions that matter before a first call:
- Is this still their current role?
- How big is the business around them - an owner-operator or a department head?
- Has anything changed recently on the business itself?
Unlock the contact once
Unlock contact reveals phone numbers and email addresses, spending credits from your balance. The unlock is remembered: the same person shows unlocked across your searches, lists and profiles. You pay once per record, not once per look.
Work the list, not the one
One person is a call. A list of them is a campaign:
- Build the People search that fits - role keywords, industry, location
- Add the right businesses to a list so the account context travels with the names
- Export with the contact fields you need - the dialog prices the export before you confirm
The call itself
Everything before this point took minutes. The call starts with a name, a role and a reason - which is the whole difference between prospecting and dialing.
